Seung Jin Um

Seung Jin Um is a Korean actor and photographer, born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. He earned his B.A. in Acting from Gachon University of Theatre & Film, where he began honing his craft through a variety of performances in short films and stage productions. Alongside his acting career, he dedicated himself to teaching high school students, nurturing young talents while deepening his own artistry as both a performer and educator.

His unwavering commitment to the craft — and his deep desire to fully embrace and refine his intuitive abilities as an actor — led him to pursue an MFA in Acting at the prestigious Actors Studio Drama School in New York City.

Seung Jin is bilingual in Korean and English. He proudly completed his military service as a bus driver, where he mastered operating a wide range of vehicles including buses, cars, and motorcycles — skills that enhance his physical versatility and on-camera presence. He’s also an enthusiastic swimmer with strong physical discipline and focus.

Seung Jin holds deep gratitude for the rigorous training and mentorship he received at the Actors Studio Drama School. He is especially thankful to his teachers, mentors, friends, and family for their unwavering support and belief in his journey as an artist.
